BookBake Publisher is an application which helps you create professional e-books out of PDF stored content.

When starting the program, you should choose whether to create a new digital book or to open an existing one for further customization. There is a sequence of seven steps that will guide you till the end of the process. You can't jump to other section. You can only use the next and previous button to move back and forward. After selecting the PDF file as content for your electronic creation, you need to fill in some fields with basic information such as title, author's name, publisher, language, and tags. You can organize the content into chapters, select colors and design, and set the book's layout. Moreover, it seems that you can appeal to special options to improve the quality of your digital design. I must point out that many of these special effects are available only after purchasing the program.

As far as I'm concerned, BookBake Publisher would not be my choice, considering the big list of e-book creators out there. The main reason lies in the fact that I encountered too many restrictions in the trial version. Excepting the guiding steps - which are useful for novices - I couldn't figured out what the program is capable of. Maybe it provides many templates, but I can't say how nice they are. Maybe you can apply special effects, but I'm not sure whether to rely on them or not. These are few reasons that make me look forward and test similar programs.
